Cinco de Mayo Celebration

The Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center will be celebration Cinco de Mayo Saturday May 20th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Center located at 817 Harmon Street.

Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of Mexican culture, of food, music and customs unique to Mexico.

Entertainment will be provided by the dance troupe Ballet Folklorico Imagenes Mexicanas (Folkloric Ballet with a Mexican Image). This dance troupe was formed to promote the appreciation, dedication and performance of Mexican Folk Dance.

We invite family, youth and friends to join us as we experience food, fun and dance in this celebration. The event is free and open to the public.
