We Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month on Sept 21st
Music, dancers, food trucks and children’s activities highlighted the second annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center--a free family event that was open to the community. DJ David Sabino of Leipsic played music, and a group of children dancers from Wauseon, Ohio performed. Several food trucks were onsite along with a bouncy house, children’s activities and multiple vendors. Raffle prizes were donated by the Michael’s store at the Findlay Village Mall.
The annual Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. It celebrates the history and culture of the Latino and Hispanic communities in the United States and commemorates how those communities have influenced and contributed to American society at large.
